Sodium-copper chlorophyllin
Chlorophyllin is a derivative of chlorophyll, a green pigment found in plants that enables them to carry out photosynthesis. Chlorophyllins are obtained by removing the phytol chain (an organic chemical compound that forms chlorophyll together with a porphyrin derivative) from the chlorophyll molecule. Chlorophyllins have a more intense colour compared to chlorophylls. The chlorophyllin used in DUOLIFE Chlorofil is a copper-sodium salt of chlorophyll with better durability and water solubility than the starting compound.
